...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN CAMERON...
LAFAYETTE...ACADIA...VERMILION...NORTHWESTERN ST. MARTIN AND
SOUTHEASTERN ST. LANDRY PARISHES THROUGH 800 AM CDT...

At 729 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Grand Coteau to 6 miles southeast of
Klondike. Movement was southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation and outdoor 
         objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Youngsville, Gueydan, Wright, Maxie, Mire, Forked Island, Egan,
Florence Landing, Lawtell, Arnaudville, Crowley, Church Point,
Swords, Carencro, Branch, Richard, Grand Coteau, Kaplan, Lyons Point,
and Breaux Bridge.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 73 and 125.
 Interstate 49 between mile markers 1 and 18.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
