...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT PETTIS...SOUTHWESTERN COOPER AND
SOUTHEASTERN JOHNSON COUNTIES THROUGH 415 AM CDT...

At 351 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Green Ridge, or 7 miles southwest of Sedalia, moving east at 70 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
La Monte, Whiteman Air Force Base, Otterville, Whiteman Afb, Sedalia,
Sedalia Memorial Arpt, Smithton, Green Ridge, Hughesville, Pilot
Grove, and Clifton City.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
