...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN HICKORY...NORTHERN
DALLAS...MILLER...NORTHWESTERN LACLEDE...CAMDEN AND SOUTHEASTERN
MORGAN COUNTIES THROUGH 1100 AM CDT...

At 1016 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Lake Ozark to near
Macks Creek to near Urbana. Movement was northeast at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Gravois Mills, Etterville, Sunrise Beach, Osage Beach, Tunas, Macks
Creek, Freedom, Kaiser, Tuscumbia, Hurricane Deck, Old Linn Creek,
Barnumton, Branch, Linn Creek, Decaturville, Lake of The Ozarks State
Park, Ha Ha Tonka State Park, Brumley, Lake of The Ozarks, and
Bagnell.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

If on or near Lake of the Ozarks, get out of the water and move 
indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 
10 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you 
are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter 
now! Do not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until noon CDT for central and
southwestern Missouri.
