...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN WEBSTER...CENTRAL
CHRISTIAN...NORTHERN STONE AND SOUTHEASTERN GREENE COUNTIES THROUGH
MIDNIGHT CDT...

At 1127 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Ozark, moving northeast at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Nixa, Fremont Hills, Sparta, Oldfield, Fordland, Turners,
Highlandville, Chestnutridge, Bruner, Selmore, Spokane, Northview,
Christian Center, Ponce de Leon, Chadwick, Linden, Diggins,
Rogersville, Ozark, and Elsey.

This includes Interstate 44 near mile marker 92, and between mile
markers 94 and 96.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 300 AM CDT for
southwestern Missouri.
