...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN LEE...NORTHEASTERN
PHILLIPS...COAHOMA...TUNICA AND NORTHWESTERN QUITMAN COUNTIES THROUGH
930 PM CDT...

At 852 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Brickeys to Helena-West Helena to near
Friars Point to near Alligator. Movement was northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Mattson, Tunica, Rena Lara, Coahoma, Rudyard, Moon, Helena-West
Helena, Preston Place, Haleside, Dublin, Quarles, Austin, Westover,
Beverly, Clarksdale, Jonestown, Dubbs, Lurand, Matagorda, and
Farrell.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
