CENTRAL WILSON...NORTHEASTERN JOHNSTON AND SOUTHERN FRANKLIN COUNTIES
THROUGH 700 PM EDT...

At 558 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Wake Forest, or 13 miles northeast of Raleigh, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Pilot, Rolesville, Red Oak, Sharpsburg, Wilson, Nashville, Zebulon,
Bunn, Wake Forest, and Elm City.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
