CENTRAL HENDERSON...SOUTHWESTERN BUNCOMBE AND EAST CENTRAL HAYWOOD
COUNTIES THROUGH 815 PM EDT...

At 749 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12
miles east of Waynesville, or near Canton, moving southeast at 35
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Mills River, Horse Shoe, B.R. Parkway-Mount Pisgah To The Nc
Arboretum, Crab Creek, Etowah, Hendersonville, West Asheville, Arden,
Valley Hill, and North Transylvania.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
