...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN GREENE AND CENTRAL PITT
COUNTIES THROUGH 815 PM EDT...

At 724 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Fremont, or 15 miles west of Farmville, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Walstonburg, Farmville, Bell Arthur, Fountain, Castoria, Greenville,
Lizzie, House, East Carolina University, Pitt Greenville Airport,
Dowdy Ficklen Stadium, Bruce, Falkland, Winterville, and Bull Head
VFD.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
