AND BURKE COUNTIES THROUGH 500 AM EDT...

At 422 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 4 miles east of Lenoir to 8 miles west of
Morganton to 15 miles west of Marion. Movement was southeast at 45
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Nebo, Old Fort, Bandys, Lake Rhodhiss, Longview, Cooksville, Belwood,
Rhodhiss, Sunshine, and Shingle Hollow.
