...STRONG TO POTENTIALLY SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT POTTER
AND TIOGA COUNTIES THROUGH 830 PM EDT...

At 645 PM EDT, a line of strong thunderstorms extended from near 
Denton Hill State Park to Cherry Springs State Park and Wharton, 
moving east northeast at 50 mph.

Wind gusts of 45 to 55 mph and pea to dime size hail are 
probable. If the line of storms strengthens, localized damaging 
wind gusts of 60 to 65 mph would be likely. 

The gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

If outdoors, or in campgrounds, plan to seek shelter inside a 
sturdy building until this line of storms passes.

Be certain to monitor local radio stations and available 
television stations for additional information and possible 
warnings from the National Weather Service.
 
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT
for Potter and Tioga Counties.
