...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT HAWKINS...HANCOCK...LEE AND
SOUTHWESTERN SCOTT COUNTIES THROUGH 330 PM EDT...

At 247 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Smith to near
Sneedville to near Rogersville. Movement was northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Duffield, Evanston, Pennington Gap, Dryden, McCloud, Surgoinsville,
Jonesville, Sneedville, Jasper, and St. Charles.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
