...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN SULLIVAN AND
NORTHERN CARTER COUNTIES THROUGH 715 PM EDT...

At 631 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Elizabethton, moving north at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Elizabethton, Hunter, Morril's Cave, Sadie, Bluff City, and Bristol
Tn.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in Morristown.
