...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN DAWSON COUNTY THROUGH
500 AM CDT...

At 438 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles east of Welch, or 11 miles north of Lamesa, moving northeast at
45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Lamesa, Punkin Center, and Arvana.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 600 AM CDT for
