...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN NOLAN AND FISHER
COUNTIES THROUGH MIDNIGHT CDT...

At 1111 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Dunn, or near Inadale, moving northeast at 65 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Sylvester, Hitson, Hobbs, Mccaulley, Gannon, Lake Sweetwater, Busby,
Capitola, Roby, Rotan, Wastella, Longworth, Champion, Roscoe, Camp
Boothe Oaks, Sweetwater, I-20 Near The Nolan-
Mitchell County Line, Us-84 Near The Nolan-Fisher County Line, Us-
180 Near The Fisher-Scurry County Line, and Hamlin.

This includes Interstate 20 between Mile Markers 229 and 260.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in San Angelo.
