...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT EASTERN MCCULLOCH...SOUTHEASTERN
MENARD...NORTHERN MASON AND SAN SABA COUNTIES THROUGH 900 AM CDT...

At 816 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from Ridge to near Pontotoc.
Movement was east at 65 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Brady, San Saba, Mason, Richland Springs, Algerita, Cherokee, Art,
Sloan, Streeter, Camp Air, Colorado Bend State Park, Calf Creek,
Skeeterville, Grit, Katemcy, Voca, Pontotoc, Fredonia, Chappel, and
Elm Grove.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 AM CDT for
west central Texas.
