SOUTHWESTERN HOUSTON...MADISON AND NORTHERN WALKER COUNTIES THROUGH
1115 PM CDT...

At 1044 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles east of Madisonville, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Heavy Rain capable of causing minor flooding in low-
         lying and poor drainage locations; pea size hail.

SOURCE...Heavy rain of over 1.5 inches per hour has been 
         reported by spotters. Hail potential is radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor flooding of low-lying and poor drainage areas.

Locations impacted include...
Madisonville, Trinity, and Lovelady.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
