...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of eastern Dimmit,
southeastern Zavala and southwestern Frio Counties through 1130 PM
CDT...

At 1041 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 10 miles southwest of Divot to near Las Vegas
to 6 miles south of Gilson Groves. Movement was south at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Dilley, Big Wells, Chaparral Wildlife Management Area, Light, Gilson
Groves, Catarina, Las Vegas, and Hilltop.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for
south central Texas.
