...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL PECOS...EAST
CENTRAL BREWSTER AND NORTHWESTERN TERRELL COUNTIES THROUGH 945 PM
CDT...

At 859 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 29 miles southeast of Fort Stockton to 17 miles
northwest of Sanderson to 39 miles northeast of Persimmon Gap to 22
miles southeast of Marathon. Movement was east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

These storms will remain over mainly rural areas of south central
Pecos, east central Brewster and northwestern Terrell Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
southwestern Texas.
