...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN ARMSTRONG...
NORTHERN RANDALL...SOUTHWESTERN CARSON AND SOUTHEASTERN POTTER
COUNTIES THROUGH 630 AM CDT...

At 552 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Mescalero Park, or 4 miles north of Canyon, moving northeast at 40
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Washburn, Amarillo, Mescalero Park, Lake Tanglewood, Timbercreek
Canyon, and Canyon.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 27 between mile markers 104 and 123.
 Interstate 40 between mile markers 63 and 89.
