...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN CAMERON COUNTY
THROUGH 230 PM CDT...

At 143 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along 
a line extending from U.S. Coast Guard Station to near Port Of 
Brownsville to Faulk Middle School. Movement was south at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  South Point, Villa Pancho, Lopez High School, Southmost Elementary 
  School, Besteiro Middle School, Brownsville, and Boca Chica Beach 
  around 150 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include Palm Grove
Elementary School, Pedro Benevides County Park, Loma Alta Lake, Reid
Hope King, Cabler Park, Port Isabel Library, Portway Acres Park,
Antonio Gonzales Park, Central Avenue Park, and Ruiz Park.

This includes Interstate Highway 69 E near mile marker 1.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
