...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY WILL EXPIRE AT 1 PM AKST THIS
AFTERNOON...

The winter weather advisory for heavy snow and blowing snow for 
the higher elevations of Anchorage, as well as Portage Valley, 
will be allowed to expire. Precipitation will continue to taper 
off this afternoon into the evening. Temperatures should also warm
such that snow levels will rise above ground level in most of 
these locations. Untreated roads and surfaces may remain slick
even after the advisory expires.
